Harsh Beniwal Reacts To Youtube Vs Tiktok Controversy And CarryMinati’s Video Taken Down: ‘Woh Hil Gaya Hoga’
Amid Coronavirus lockdown, the whole YouTube Vs TikTok controversy has taken social media by a storm. It was brought to light by CarryMinati’s video, which was in response to TikTok user Aamir Siddiqui, in which he roasted TikTok. The video was eventually pulled off Twitter, following which #JusticeForCarryMinati and other hashtags were trending. It doesn’t end there, several TikTok videos promoting violence on TikTok came into light, following which #BanTikTok was trending. Now, YouTuber Harsh Beniwal opens up on CarryMinati’s video being pulled off YouTube, and the whole ‘YouTube Vs TikTok’ controversy. He also talked about Faizal Siddiqui’s video which allegedly promotes violence.

Speaking with Pinkvilla about the debate going on, Harsh said that the problem was that one TikToker targeted all YouTubers in general, which is why everyone was so offended. “First, Elvish reacted then Carry Minati, then Hindustani Bhau and so I did. If he would have targeted a particular YouTuber, it wouldn't have become such a huge matter. He further mentioned about derogatory words used for the LGBTQ community, and said that he asked CarryMinati if he had used the words in the video, and Carry said he didn’t.

“Yes, 'Chakka', 'Meetha', 'Halwa' are words that shouldn't be used. I, in fact, asked Carry if he had used any of these words in his video because I couldn't remember and he said he didn't. He is a huge influencer and he is responsible,” said Harsh.

Harsh also felt like CarryMinati’s video being pulled off wasn’t justified and that it takes a lot of pain to make a video. “I don't think we can understand his pain, honestly! Woh hil gaya hoga. I had spoken to Carry and he said that he needs time right now,” he said.

Harsh Beniwal also slammed Faizal Siddiqui’s acid attack video and said that he was shocked, however, Faizal isn’t the only one doing it. He feels that there are many others and they should also be held responsible.
